For the second design, I decided to focus heavily on typography and specifically the quote 'four legs good two legs bad', as it is such a famous quote in the book I thought it would be good to include this on the front cover. I played about with two different fonts as I wanted them to look almost scruffy and handwritten as if it were done by the animals.
With just the typography on the cover design, it looked quite bland and plain so adding in some imagery broke it up a bit and added more depth to the cover.
Just in Photoshop, I created a silhouette of a pig and placed it behind the typography on the cover.
