I suggested to Julia that we use the brush and pencil tool in Illustrator to have a go at creating the perfect logo. This meant we could use the direct selection tool and alter/manipulate certain points of the font that were may be not as neat, it gave it a much cleaner finish to it compared to the hand written ones and meant the logo was so much more precise.
Julia asked would I try her middle name underneath in a normal font to see what that looked like, she said this may be better than just her name because it would make her more easily known if she had another name rather than just her first. I experimented with the layout and tried to see which was best suited.
