Like the planets, I tried to achieve the same look to this rocket, however I don't think this looks as effective and the mix of the brushes and fill of colour doesn't work really well.
I then went on to create collage versions of the rocket using crayons and card, they are really child-like which is what I intended for them to be and they look a lot better than the digital rocket. They have a much more hand made feel to them and would appeal to a younger audience as they are bright and colourful.
