Julia said she had a good understanding of what she wanted to have as her outcome and knew she wanted her name to be hand drawn for her logo in an almost elaborate and emphasised font style. In order to achieve this, we both experimented with drawing her name different ways, using different pens with various brushes and thicknesses.
These images are lots of experiments of writing her name, we decided to do this so that we could try and find at style that was suitable and get the style of logo she wanted. I think doing things by hand are always helpful because they allow you to work out a concrete idea.
