I have chosen this as my final book cover design. Out of all of the different variations that I have created, I feel this is the one that has worked the best and is the most effective. The design draws on a heavy use of typography, something which the judges would be looking for in the cover design. It's also a contemporary take on the classic style of the penguin book covers, the miss match of various fonts used makes the cover quite playful. By not over complicating the use of colours used on the cover, it still holds its classic 'animal farm' appearance therefore should hopefully appeal to its target audience. The composition of the cover, text, imagery etc, works nicely as its not over crowded or messy looking, everything works in harmony with each other.
